Born on July 25, 1988, in Vercelli, Italy, Federico de Manachino graduated in Law at the Catholic University of Milan.
In Milan, he worked as an actor for the company “Kerkìs", under the direction of Giorgio Albertazzi and Christian Poggioni, and for the company “Ai due chiostri”, which he also directed in two successful productions.
Federico moved to London to study at the London Film School in 2015 where he graduated in his MA in Filmmaking.
During his time in London he works in several productions as Writer and Director, as well as Producer.
His work has been screened in front of international audiences all around the world. His last short film "Rab.bit" was selected in prestigious festivals as Lift-Off Genre FF and FilmQuest where he got nominated as "Best Scifi Short " and was awarded for "Best Art Direction".
In 2019, his screenplay "Queenside" has started a very successful competition run and received a special mention as "TOP 10 Finalist" at ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship.
When he is not directing shorts and commercials, Federico keeps developing new projects for Film and TV.
His strong vision and passion for storytelling allow him to realize very ambitious productions and push him to embrace any challenge that a new project brings.
